1. Who we are
The TechnoGen — Digital Solutions ("The TechnoGen", "we", "us") is a digital services company based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. We build websites, mobile applications, ERP systems and marketing campaigns for clients in India and internationally.

2. What we collect
Information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, company details and anything you write into a contact, audit or newsletter form on this site. We collect this only when you choose to submit it.
Information collected automatically: standard web analytics — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device and browser type, and time spent. This is collected through analytics tools and is used in aggregate.
Information from advertising platforms: if you arrive from an ad, the platform may pass campaign parameters (UTM tags) that tell us which campaign brought you here. This is not personally identifying on its own.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data — financial account details, health information, biometric data or government identifiers — through this website. Please do not submit any of it through our forms.
3. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry. If you submit a form, we use your details to reply, prepare a proposal and follow up on the specific thing you asked about.
To deliver services you have engaged us for, including communicating about ongoing work.
To send you marketing emails, but only if you have opted in. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately.
To improve this website and understand which content is useful, using aggregated analytics.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Legal basis
Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a form, or for legitimate uses such as responding to a request you have made.
Where the GDPR applies — for visitors in the UK and EU — our lawful bases are consent (for marketing), contract (to deliver services you have engaged us for) and legitimate interests (to operate and improve this website, balanced against your rights).
5. Who we share it with
Service providers who help us operate: email delivery, hosting, and analytics providers. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Advertising and analytics platforms, including Google and Meta, receive aggregated or pseudonymised interaction data where those tools are active on the site. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with it.
Legal authorities, where we are required by law to disclose information.
Where data is transferred outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry and lead data: retained for up to three years from your last interaction with us, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Client project data: retained for the duration of the engagement and for up to seven years afterwards, where required for tax and contractual record-keeping.
Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only a suppression record so we don't email you again by mistake.
Analytics data: retained according to the settings of the analytics platform in use, typically 14 months.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to: confirm what personal data we hold about you; correct anything inaccurate; delete your data; stop using it for marketing; or provide a copy in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email hello@thetechnogen.in. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, to make sure we're not disclosing your data to someone else.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the UK or EU.
8. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and for analytics. Essential cookies are required for the site to work — for example, keeping you logged in to the admin area.
Analytics and advertising cookies help us understand how the site is used and measure campaign performance. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; essential functionality may stop working if you do.
9. Security
We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to personal data to team members who need it, and store credentials in encrypted secret stores rather than in code.
No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The 'last updated' date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated to you directly where we have your contact details.
