Ad Copy Generator
Google Ads headlines and descriptions plus Meta primary text, built from proven angles and counted against the real character limits. No signup, no API, nothing leaves your browser.
Tell it about the offer
Copy updates as you type. Write the way a customer would speak, not the way a brochure would.
Everything runs in your browser. No API, no account, nothing sent to a server — and nothing here is a claim we can verify for you. Before any line goes live, check that the ratings, counts, timelines and guarantees in it are true for your business.

Angles, not adjectives
Most ad copy fails because every line makes the same argument. The fix is structural.
Write fifteen headlines in one sitting and you'll almost certainly write the same headline fifteen times — a different arrangement of the same benefit, in the same voice, aimed at the same moment in the buying decision. Google will happily serve them, learn nothing, and report that your Ad Strength is “Poor”.
A responsive search ad is a testing system. It only earns its keep if the assets you feed it genuinely disagree with each other. A benefit headline and a problem-agitate headline pull different people; a proof headline reassures the cautious buyer while an offer headline moves the ready one. That variety is what gives the algorithm something real to optimise.
So this generator is organised around angles rather than adjectives. Every line it produces is labelled with the argument it's making — benefit-led, problem–agitate, social proof, offer, local intent, audience match, question hook, objection handling, direct call to action. Copy the ones that fit, delete the ones that don't, and use the labels to check you haven't submitted ten versions of a single idea.
Character limits are treated the same way — as information, not as a straitjacket. Rather than silently chopping a line at 30 characters and handing you a fragment, the tool shows the exact count and tells you how far over you are, because a headline you know to trim is more useful than one that's been cut mid-word.
The angle library
Benefit-led
States the outcome, not the service. 'Pain-free treatment' beats 'advanced dental care'.
Problem–agitate
Names the frustration first so the reader recognises themselves before you pitch.
Offer
The concrete reason to act today. No invented countdowns or fake scarcity — they cost trust and convert worse than a clear offer.
Social proof
Only generated when you supply a real number. A rating you can't evidence is a liability, not a headline.
Local intent
City and proximity modifiers. In local search these consistently carry the highest intent.
Question hook
Mirrors the search query back at the searcher — strong for high-intent keyword matches.
Objection handling
Removes the reason not to click: hidden costs, contracts, pressure to commit.
Before any of this goes live
Verify every factual claim.Ratings, customer counts, turnaround times, guarantees and “no hidden charges” are all statements a regulator, a platform reviewer or an unhappy customer can hold you to. The generator can't check them; you have to.
Match the copy to the landing page. If a headline promises a free consultation, the page had better lead with a free consultation. Mismatch is the single most common cause of a good click-through rate with a terrible conversion rate.
Read it aloud in your own voice. Templates produce grammatically correct sentences that occasionally sound like nobody. Thirty seconds of editing per line is what turns a draft into your ad.
Let it run before you judge it. Give assets enough impressions to say something meaningful before you swap them out. Killing a headline after two days of data is guessing with extra steps.
What this tool is not
It isn't a copywriter and it doesn't know your market. It can't research what competitors are saying, read your reviews for the phrases customers actually use, or tell you that your real differentiator is the thing you left out of the brief. What it does reliably is stop you shipping fifteen versions of one idea, keep you inside the character limits, and give you a spread of tested angles to react to — which is usually the hardest part of a blank page.
Ad copy questions
No. It's a template engine that runs entirely in your browser — proven ad-copy angles combined with the words you type. Nothing is sent to a server, there's no API key and no account. That means it's instant, free and private, but also that it won't surprise you the way a language model would. Think of it as a structured first draft that guarantees you cover every angle, not as a copywriter.
You can, but you shouldn't publish it unedited. Two checks first. One: is every claim true for your business? The generator only produces social-proof lines from a proof point you type in yourself, but phrases like 'no hidden charges' still have to be accurate. Two: does it sound like you? Read each line aloud — if you wouldn't say it to a customer, rewrite it. These are starting points to test, not finished winners.
Google assembles responsive search ads from your assets and has to fit several headlines into one line across every screen size, so each is capped at 30 characters and each description at 90. The limits are hard — Google rejects anything over rather than truncating it. Spaces and punctuation count; emoji aren't allowed in search ads at all. The counter on this page flags anything over so you can trim before you paste.
A responsive search ad accepts up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions. You don't have to fill all 15, but under 8 to 10 you're not giving the system enough to test, and Google's Ad Strength will say so. More important than the count is the spread: headlines that all say the same thing in different words give the algorithm nothing to learn from. Aim for a mix of benefit, offer, proof, location and objection-handling angles — which is why this tool labels every line with its angle.
There's no hard cap, but mobile collapses primary text at roughly 125 characters and everything after that hides behind 'See more'. So the first sentence has to work alone. Longer text isn't automatically worse — story-led copy can outperform short copy for considered purchases — as long as the hook earns the expand. The counter on this page marks the truncation point rather than treating it as an error.
More than before, in one specific way. Performance Max and automatically created assets will write copy for you from your landing page, and it is reliably generic — it can't know your guarantee, your turnaround time or the objection that actually loses you deals. The platform optimises which of your assets get shown; it can't invent a better proposition. Supplying strong, differentiated assets is the part of the system still fully under your control.
Good copy, still no conversions?
Copy is one variable. We'll audit the account structure, keywords, landing page and tracking together — and tell you which one is actually costing you money.
